Ultram Side Effects
Wilson
I was taki
ng Ultram
for fibromyalgia pain. Almost after 7
years of use I began to cut it off. I
had the worst withdrawal symptoms. I started
by reducing1/4 of a tablet every week
for 2 weeks. After more than 4 months
I was completely off. It was the worst
phase of my life. That fear of going through
withdrawal kept me on this stuff way to
long! Finally my new Doctor helped me.
He said he would write me just one more
refill. I decided that bottle would be
my last, and so it was. Remember to wean
off at a pace that you feel comfortable
with. Do not be tempted to get off at
the earliest.

When I started on Ultram, I liked the way they worked for me initially
and took for six months, later it turned bad. I had very bad leg
restlessness .After about a couple days I felt better. Then I started on
xanax for almost a year, now switched to valium and did not have the
withdrawals as I did with ultram. God Bless.

Ultram, is chemically related to narcotics.. So it can be addictive. It
is recommended in its literature to be gradually reduced to avoid
withdrawal symptoms. I do not know why any doctor would say that is
non-addictive when the drug's literature clearly says it can be.

If you take Ultram/Ultracet for the happiness, it can be called the
addiction. If you take Ultram/Ultracet for the disease, it cannot be
called the addiction.

I have been taking 400mg ultram for 3 years. Before that, I was on 300mg
for approx 2 years. I slowly got addicted and now can’t do without
the drug. If I take little later than my regular timing I get ‘tingling,
jolting, anxious, nervous etc, now - my symptoms have worsened in spite
of the addiction.
